DJ Services

Jared the DJ

Jared began to DJ at the young age of 14 under the wings of his father, David Clemens. By 17, he was DJing all on own. He saw how the music he played made the parties and dances better with every song. Music became not only Jared's career, but his passion and life! Jared's friends joke that he is a "living jukebox" because he is always singing and has a song in every situation! In addition to DJing, Jared has also worked as a sound technician for groups such as The Four Townsmen doo wop group and Steel City Blues. Jared has also traveled to more then 20 cities to DJ for their dance weekend and workshop weekends.

Listen to what others are saying about Jared.

“Jared is an extraordinary instructor. We had been doing the Lindy "wrong" for decades. He cleaned up our act in three lessons. Pittsburgh dancers are lucky to have Jared in the house!.”

-Bear Brandegee

“We stumbled upon this venue when searching for dancing in the burgh. I've taken a few salsa and swing lessons before visiting but none of those lessons came close to the quality of the one taught by Jared Clemens. He provided instruction with the help of Miss Pennsylvania, gave graduated instruction on the basic swing steps and provided entertaining detail on the etiquette of dancing with a partner through the whole process. What I appreciated most though was the layout of the class. Jared had us switching partners with each new move and this is truly how I was able to understand how the moves should feel as we were all helping eachother with our varying levels of experience. I sooooo highly recommend this class to anyone/everyone or just show up after the class to swing dance all night in the best possible atmosphere! Live music too, by the way.”
